Every business holds the answers its customers are looking for, buried in documents, systems and people's heads. We structure that knowledge so an AI assistant can answer from it accurately, and so search engines can point the right people to it.

Our story
From the Social Web to Knowledge Graphs
Social Web Strategy started with a simple question: how do you make the information inside an organisation easy for people, and for machines, to find and understand?
That question came out of research. Our founder, Ina O'Murchu, spent years working on ontologies and semantic web technologies at DERI, NUI Galway (now part of the Insight Centre for Data Analytics), studying how structured data connects people, content and services.
An AI assistant is only as good as the knowledge it can reach. Most of them are guessing.
The technology has changed since. The problem underneath it has not. We build assistants that look things up in a structured model of your own information, then say so when the answer is not there.

Social Web Strategy is led by Ina O'Murchu, whose background is in ontologies, semantic web technologies and knowledge graphs, the field behind the assistants we build today. She has published 17 papers and speaks and writes about how technology is changing the way organisations work.

How big is the team?
We are deliberately small. Projects are led by the founder, with trusted specialists brought in for design, development or content when a project needs them. You will always know who is working on what.
Where are you based?
Dublin 2, with clients across Ireland. Most project work happens over video calls and email, and meetings at Harcourt Street are by appointment.
What kind of organisations do you work with?
Small and medium Irish businesses for websites, SEO and smaller AI projects, and larger organisations, including public bodies and utilities, for enterprise assistants.
Do you work with clients outside Ireland?
Our focus is Ireland. We do take on work elsewhere when it fits, particularly where knowledge graph expertise is hard to find locally.
What happens to our data?
Client data stays in the EU, under data processing agreements, and we collect only what a project needs. Our Privacy Policy sets out the detail.
